I’ve spent the last five years investing in early-stage B2B software companies - partnering with founders in the very early innings to help them build with intention, focus, and durability. My experience encompasses both broader venture market exposure and close founder collaboration - complementary viewpoints that have sharpened my understanding of what it takes to build an enduring software business.
Before joining Bonfire, I was at Industry Ventures in San Francisco. That seat offered a uniquely comprehensive view of the venture ecosystem - investing across stages (early to mid-stage), sectors (as generalists within B2B software), and strategies (direct and SPV investments, primary fund commitments, and secondaries). I was there through one of the most dynamic periods in recent venture history - from the exuberance of 2020-2021 to the more measured correction that followed - giving me visibility into hundreds of companies and fund managers, and refining my view of the early signals that map to long-term success.
Prior to that, I began my career in investment banking at Goldman Sachs in New York, advising industrial clients on M&A and capital markets transactions, including the firm’s first-ever SPAC (NYSE: VRT). That experience instilled the analytical rigor and execution mindset I bring to investing today.
Born and raised in the Bay Area, I now live in LA and continue to be energized by the collaborative and ambitious startup community here. Outside of work, I spend my time on long walks and hikes, in the kitchen testing new recipes, or being overruled by my two puppies.
